Jadon Sancho and Eddie Nketiah have reacted on their Instagram stories to Reiss Nelson leaving Arsenal for Feyenoord.
Arsenal confirmed on Twitter that Nelson has moved to Holland on a season-long loan.
Sancho has reacted on his Instagram story to that news by saying: ‘Go time bro’, whilst striker Eddie Nketiah also wrote on his own social media account: ‘Go time bro. God bless you.”
This is a much-needed move for Nelson because his game time had just gone out of the window in North London.
Even though someone like Willian, who was ahead of him in the pecking order last season, is now out of the door, it still hasn’t pushed Nelson closer to Mikel Arteta’s first-team plans.
Sancho himself moved to a bigger league in Germany and thrived in Dortmund colours when he left Manchester City as a youngster.
His fellow countryman will be hoping to do the same in the Eredivisie.
Hours remain until the summer transfer window slams shut and it seems as though Nelson will be the last Hale-End academy product to walk out of the Emirates door.
There was a lot of talk about Nketiah possibly moving to Crystal Palace, but he will now have to fight for his place in an Arsenal side that has lost their opening three games of the season.
From nine goals conceded to zero goals scored, the club are in an utter mess and it’s probably going to take something special to pull them out of their current situation now.
