Saiz has left Leeds to join Getafe on a loan-to-buy deal, beginning in January.

Samu Saiz’s agent has told the Yorkshire Evening Post that the playmaker is grateful to Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa and director of football Victor Orta for sanctioning a move to Getafe.
Saiz, 27, has joined the La Liga side on a loan-to-buy basis beginning in January, with the option of making the deal permanent for £6million in the summer.
He will remain in Spain until January 1, meaning he has played his last game for the Whites – which came in the form of a 2-1 win over Queens Park Rangers. He was not in the squad for Saturday’s win over Bolton.
Saiz’s agent Juan Moreno has told the YEP that his client is very grateful for “understanding his problem” and sanctioning a move so quickly. He has a contract at Elland Road until the summer of 2021.
“Samuel was delighted by Leeds, he loves the people and the city, but a personal problem made him come back to Madrid,” Moreno said.
“He hopes Leeds will still go to the Premier League in the summer and he is very grateful to Marcelo and Victor Orta for understanding his problem.”

Since joining Leeds from Huesca in the summer of 2017, Saiz has clocked up 58 appearances in all competitions for Leeds – scoring 10 goals and creating 11 more.
But this season, Saiz has failed to score a single league goal for the Whites despite featuring in 19 league games. Bielsa had previously stated that he would not be signing any players before Saiz left, but that may change now.
