Leeds United deserve great credit for signing Samu Saiz in the summer.

Victor Orta has faced a certain amount of criticism since arriving at Leeds United, but he deserves great deal of credit for bringing Samu Saiz to Elland Road.
Saiz cost Leeds £3 million last summer, as reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post, after he was plucked from Spanish second division side Huesca.
And while many of Orta’s signings have appeared questionable, Saiz looks like Leeds’ best addition for years.

The attacking midfielder has been nothing short of a revelation, and his price tag is just going up by the game.
Saiz already has eight goals and four assists in his first 18 appearances for Leeds, and he has become Thomas Christiansen’s side’s main creative influence already.
A diminutive figure, Saiz is a defender’s nightmare and he looks to be among the very best footballers in England outside the Premier League.

Leeds will surely have to achieve promotion in the near future if they are to keep hold of a player of Saiz’s talents, but they can at least rest assured in the knowledge that they will surely make a huge profit, if he is sold.
And it is hard to remember Leeds’ possessing many better players than Saiz, since their relegation from the Premier League way back in 2004.
