The Spaniard has been the subject of a bid from Leeds United but no move has yet materialised.
As reported by the Daily Star, Leeds United target Samu Saiz has dropped a hint that he could be on his way to Elland Road, liking an Instagram post that saw him mocked up as a Whites player.
Social media is such that footballers can send fans into a frenzy with the click of a button, but one wonders why the 26-year-old would have bothered liking the image unless there was some truth to his potential move to England.

As reported by Sport Huesca late last month, Leeds have made a £3million bid for Saiz, and while there have been no more developments as yet, he could well become one of Thomas Christiansen’s high profile signings in due course.
The secondary striker is currently on holiday in Miami and is not expected to return until Sunday. However, it seems he is keeping up to date in terms of social media and there is no doubt he would be a fine acquisition if Leeds ultimately seal a deal.
Last season he scored 12 goals and provided nine assists for Huesca and, given Leeds’ attacking struggles last season, his addition would ease the pressure on top-scorer Chris Wood.
The New Zealand international aside, Leeds’ players failed to score the goals required to ensure a top-six finish and Christiansen will want to rectify that ahead of the new campaign.
