Samu Saiz just needs to keep up his current form, and he’ll make Izzy Brown’s task to break into Leeds United’s team difficult.

Samu Saiz could have an opportunity to make himself undroppable at Leeds United, before his main rival for a place is even fully fit.

Izzy Brown was brought to Leeds to add competition to places to Marcelo Bielsa’ side.

There is a belief at Leeds, though, that Brown will not be fully up to speed until 2019 such is the extent of his injury problems, as reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post.

That time on the sidelines for Brown means that Saiz now has the opportunity to basically nail down his place in Bielsa’s first-team.

Saiz is already playing an integral role for Leeds, but if Brown was fit, competition to be Leeds’ leading playmaker would be fierce.

Brown has proven that he is a huge weapon at Championship level, and he could be a wonderful addition to Leeds’ squad.

But if the £3 million signing (YEP) keeps up his current form, then it is hard to see anyway Brown becomes a regular starter at Leeds this season.

And by the time January comes around, Saiz could have made himself the most important man in Leeds’ team, if he continues to perform to his current level.
