The Frenchman joined West Ham on a free transfer two months ago.

West Ham ace Samir Nasri spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and shared how he told his countryman Patrice Evra how he was surprised by the level of training at the club.
The Frenchman joined the Hammers on a short-term deal in January, and he has impressed thus far, despite picking up an injury recently that subsequently ruled him out for a few games.
He is now back fully fit, however, and with West ham sitting in ninth spot in the table, just four points adrift of seventh, many are tipping them to go on and earn Europa League qualification this season.
Nasri spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and admitted that the quality of training at the club surprised him when he first joined:

“I am not surprised we are playing like this. Even before Manu came back, when I first trained with the team, I said to Patrice Evra that I was surprised by the level of the training. I knew some of the players from before, but I didn’t expect the quality and intensity to be that high.”
Next up for West Ham is a trip to Cardiff City on Saturday, and Nasri will be hoping that he has done enough to start the game against Neil Warnock’s side.
Pellegrini’s men will be desperate for a win, as they look to keep the pressure up on Wolves and Watford above them in the table.
