The West Ham United front-man bagged a timely brace to rescue all three points for his team on Saturday.

Samir Nasri spoke to reporters after his side’s dramatic 4-3 win over Huddersfield Town on Saturday, and took time to praise Javier Hernandez, describing the Mexican as ‘sneaky’ in the way that he plays football, as quoted by the club’s official website.
The 30-year-old joined the Hammers from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2017, for a fee believed to be worth £16 million, but he hasn’t quite lived up to expectations at the London Stadium, scoring just 16 times in 58 appearances in all competitions.
Chicharito is still an important player for West Ham, however, and he proved on Saturday just how useful he can be, especially when deployed as a second-half substitute.
And Nasri singled the Mexico international out for praise, when speaking to reporters after Saturday’s win over the Terriers, highlighting just how deadly he is when operating in and around the penalty box, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“I think he’s a poacher. You have to play him in the box. It would be more difficult for him to exist against big centre-backs but he is sneaky and he is like a South American type of striker. He is really good in the box and if you play him in the box he’s going to score goals.”
West Ham now have a couple of weeks off before they play again, and Hernandez will be hoping to finish the season strongly.
The Hammers are in a real battle for the last Europa League spot, and if the former Manchester United man is on his best form between now and May, they have every chance of securing European football for next season.
