Haris Vuckic struggled to make his mark at Newcastle due to a multitude of injuries.

Former Newcastle United playmaker Haris Vuckic failed to make the cut during his spell on Tyneside, as his failure to overcome a proneness to injury prevented him from developing any sort of consistency.
The 25-year-old joined Newcastle way back in 2009, but only managed 19 appearances with the Toon in eight years before joining Dutch side FC Twente last summer.

Vuckic’s struggles with injuries saw the attacking midfielder join the likes of Rangers, Wigan and Cardiff during his time at Newcastle but he finally decided to leave permanently to join Twente.
But the injury problems have not stopped despite finally cutting ties with the Toon, being limited to just 12 league appearances all season. Though he has shown his talent with three goals, it is another frustrating season for Vuckic.

Just to top things off for the one-time Slovenia international, Twente have been surprisingly relegated from the top tier of Dutch football this season with just 24 points from 34 league games.
Leaving Newcastle, then, has hardly kickstarted a career that promised so much, after Newcastle had beaten European heavyweights such as AC Milan to his signature almost a decade ago.
