Arsenal could reportedly sign Odsonne Edouard from Celtic for just €15 million (£13.33 million), according to a report in AS.
Spanish publication AS has named Celtic striker Edouard as a potential option for Real Madrid. The report has stated that the French striker is valued at €15 million (£13.33 million).
Earlier this month, CBS Sports reported Arsenal’s interest in Edouard, claiming that the Gunners are looking at the 22-year-old striker as a potential alternative to Alexandre Lacazette, as covered by HITC Sport.
AS has noted that Edouard is represented by the agent of Wales international winger Gareth Bale – who is on loan at Tottenham Hotspur from Madrid at the moment – Jonathan Barnett, who is actually an Arsenal fan.
Bargain signing
While is unlikely that Celtic will sell Edouard in the January transfer window, there is no doubt that the Frenchman would be a bargain signing for Arsenal for €15 million (£13.33 million).
The 22-year-old has progressed well at Celtic and scores goals for fun, and he is ready to take the next step in his career and move to a top club in the Premier League.
The striker has scored seven goals in 12 Scottish Premiership starts this season, while in 2019-20, he scored 21 goals and gave 12 assists in 27 league games, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
