Wigan Athletic midfielder Sam Morsy played with Leeds United defender Liam Cooper at Chesterfield.

Wigan Athletic midfielder Sam Morsy has taken to social networking site Twitter to send Liam Cooper a message following his personal achievement with Leeds United.
Cooper played his 100th game for Leeds last weekend, having joined the West Yorkshire outfit from Chesterfield for a transfer fee reported by The Star to be worth £750,000.
The 26-year-old can operate as a centre-back or as a left-back and has established himself as an important player in the current Whites’ team.
Wigan midfielder Morsy, 26, played with Cooper at Chesterfield, and the League One midfielder has congratulated the defender on his achievement at Elland Road.

Leeds started the 2017-18 Championship campaign strongly, but their recent results and performances have not been great.
The Whites have lost their last three league fixtures, and their performances have been disappointing.
Thomas Christiansen’s side are still very much in the race for the playoffs, but their results need to improve soon.
