West Bromwich Albion haven’t quite been firing on all cylinders so far this season.
West Brom stopper Sam Johnstone sat down for an exclusive interview with the Express & Star, and shared his belief that his side will be very dangerous when they improve upon the quality and crispness of their passing.
The Baggies have made a solid, if not spectacular, start to their 2018/19 Championship campaign, having taken 11 points from seven outings thus far, and they currently sit in eighth spot in the table.
Many fans and pundits alike are tipping West Brom to earn promotion back to the Premier League this term, and when they start to gel as a unit, they will surely be a fearsome prospect for the rest of the Championship.
Johnstone, who moved to the Hawthorns in the summer, told the Express & Star how West Brom will be a very dangerous side when they start to pass the football more incisively:
“Ultimately we have to be a bit cleaner and a bit better with our passing. When that comes, I think we’ll be very dangerous.”
Next up for West Brom is a home game against Bristol City in the Championship tonight, and nothing less than a win will do for Darren Moore’s men.
