The youngster joined Arsenal from Sunderland last summer.

Sam Greenwood of Arsenal takes on Jonathon Page of Fulham during the match between Fulham and Arsenal at Fulham Training Ground on April 27, 2019 in New Malden, England.

Sam Greenwood could be on the move again, just a year after walking out of Sunderland.

The Wearside native spent a decade on Sunderland’s books before he declined scholarship terms to join Arsenal, after ‘making clear that he saw his future elsewhere’.

And after an impressive first season at Arsenal, Greenwood is now being watched by Juventus, AC Milan and German clubs, according to The Sun.

The newspaper claims that Juve believes Greenwood possesses ‘the potential to reach the top’ while the Milan executive Ivan Gazidis was with the Gunners when the teenager arrived from Sunderland.

Whether or not either club – or any for that matter – could prise Greenwood away from Arsenal remains to be seen, although Sunderland could be in line for an unexpected windfall should he indeed be transferred.
