West Ham United reportedly want to sign the Bristol City full-back.

According to a report from the Mirror, West Ham are interested in signing Bristol City left-back Joe Bryan, but the Hammers should be wary of a move for the youngster given their signing of Sam Byram from Leeds two-and-a-half years ago.
The 24-year-old right-back was widely considered to be one of the most exciting bright young talents when he swapped west Yorkshire for east London in January 2016, but the jump up from the Championship to the Premier League proved to be an extremely challenging one for him.
And Bryan might just suffer the same fate as the Hammers defender.
The 24-year-old Bristol City ace is undeniably talented, and he proved last season that he was right up there with the very best in his position in England’s second tier.
West Ham already have experience and quality in the left-back department, however, in the shape of Aaron Cresswell and Arthur Masuaku, and it could be argued that the arrival of another left sided defender would be unnecessary.

Bryan is valued at around £6 million, according to the Sun, and that fee could very well be considered as a risky move from West Ham.
The Bristol City ace might find the jump up to the top flight to be an extremely difficult one, and the Hammers need look no further than their signing of Byram in 2016 for a reason as to why they might be better served in avoiding a swoop for Bryan.
