Everton boss Sam Allardyce reportedly wants Sunderland duo Wahbi Khazri and Lamine Kone.

Everton boss Sam Allardyce may have made a bright start at Goodison Park, but his reported transfer plans are concerning currently.
Kone and Khazri performed key roles in keeping Sunderland up, during Allardyce’s time in charge at the Stadium of Light.

But if Allardyce is planning on bringing the duo to Everton, then he needs to realise the Toffees’ aims are higher.
Khazri and Kone were great for keeping Sunderland in the top flight, but Everton can do better.
The Toffees have one of the biggest budgets in the Premier League, and have expressed a desire to break into the top four in future years.

If Everton are to break in the Champions League qualification spaces then they are going to have to have far higher ambitions in the transfer window than they are currently showing.
And Allardyce needs to re-assess his early targets, as Khazri’s and Kone’s arrivals at Goodison Park would be very underwhelming.
