West Ham United and Sunderland top the list, with former club Blackburn Rovers also featuring.

Sam Allardyce has left his post as England manager after only 67 days in charge and one match.

The FA announced the news in a statement last night, following an undercover Telegraph investigation which caught him offering advice on how to evade transfer regulations.

Allardyce has evidently acted improperly, but his managerial achievements are not undone by the sorry episode.

He remains a manager with an impeccable record of keeping clubs in the Premier League, last season saving a Sunderland side which appeared doomed prior to his appointment.

Bookies are already offering odds on his next job, with clubs in the Premier League and Football League linked with offering him a shot at redemption.

SunBets make his former club West Ham the favourites, listing the Hammers at just 4/1 to get the gig.

His replacement Slaven Bilic has had a disastrous start to the season and West Ham sit in the relegation zone with only one win.

Second favourites at 8/1 are his most recent club, Sunderland, despite the fact the Black Cats have just appointed David Moyes.

Moyes has struggled to get the squad up to speed this season, and they are bottom of the table with no wins.

Allardyce’s former clubs Bolton Wanderers, in League One, and Blackburn Rovers of the Championship, are both listed at 10/1.

Blackpool are the fifth choice at 16/1, while if you really fancy throwing your money away, Barcelona are 1,000/1.
