Newcastle United and Sunderland will face each other in the Premier League next weekend.
Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his excitement ahead of the derby against Newcastle United.
The Black Cats will take on Newcastle away from home at St. James’ Park in the Premier League next weekend.
With both Sunderland and the Magpies struggling for survival in the English top flight, the match has a lot at stake.
Allardyce is looking forward to the clash and has made it clear on Twitter that the players are training hard.
Sunderland are 17th in the Premier League table at the moment with 25 points from 29 matches.
Allardyce’s side are level on points with third-from-bottom Norwich City and are a point ahead of Newcastle.
The Magpies do have a game in hand, but that is against Leicester City away from home at the King Power Stadium this evening.
There is a good chance that both Newcastle and Sunderland could go down to the Championship at the end of the season.
