Liverpool hammered Brighton and Hove Albion 5-1 away from home in the Premier League last weekend following a heavy win against Stoke City – also on the road.
Everton manager Allardyce, who was recently appointed in the role at Goodison Park, has admitted that Liverpool’s attack is outstanding.
Allardyce told talkSPORT: “Not only the front three now, but what he has got on the bench, Mane and Lallana and people like that, you know, so I think that has to be the main priority – to stop the outstanding attacking talent that Liverpool have at the moment, you know.”
Liverpool will fancy their chances against Everton, but the Merseyside outfit are not exactly great defensively.
If the Toffees are able to score an early goal at Anfield on Sunday afternoon, then things could become tricky for the Reds, especially as it is a derby.
