West Ham United have placed David Moyes at the helm, after parting company with Slaven Bilic.

Moyes was announced as West Ham’s new manager earlier today, in an appointment which has not gone down well at the London Stadium.
Many Hammers fans have accused their side of showing a lack of ambition by turning to Moyes to replace Slaven Bilic.
But Allardyce feels that Moyes has what it takes to guide West Ham to safety.

He said: “I think he’ll be a success because they have a good squad.
“He needs to pull that squad together in a way that Slaven couldn’t. I think Moyes is hungry and he’ll get those players back winning football matches.”
Moyes has a big challenge on his hands at West Ham, as the London side have been in abject form so far this season.

Bilic ended his reign in charge with a 4-1 defeat to Liverpool, and West Ham’s performance in that match exposed all their flaws.
Moyes’ first match in charge of the Hammers will come in two weekends’ time, when he takes his new team to Vicarage Road to face Marco Silva’s impressive Watford side.
