Tottenham have not signed a player for a year.

Tottenham Hotspur did not sign any players on transfer deadline day, passing a milestone of one year without bringing in a new player.
It is now two successive transfer windows since Spurs bought Lucas Moura from Paris Saint-Germain.
The policy in deciding against bringing in players has drawn criticism from the club’s fans, and has been met with bemusement from pundits.
Former Premier League boss Sam Allardyce has a different viewpoint, and believes Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino and chairman Daniel Levy deserve praise.

Speaking to Sky Sports’ transfer deadline day coverage at 10pm, Allardyce said: “If you are spending big to sign someone as good as Harry Kane, you are talking £80 million, £90 million or £100 million.
“If you don’t need a player don’t sign one. Don’t sign one for the sake of it. It’s pretty brave for Daniel Levy and Mauricio Pochettino to stand up for that.
“Who knows where they might finish. Tottenham are having a fantastic season.”
Tottenham are managing to get by up front with Fernando Llorente stepping up, but in midfield they might be caught short.
While Spurs did not get stronger this transfer window, they did get weaker, selling Mousa Dembele to Guangzhao R&F.
