Everton’s Seamus Coleman is back in training, Sam Allardyce confirms.

Sam Allardyce has revealed to Everton’s annual meeting, quoted by ESPN, that Seamus Coleman has resumed training following a 10-month absence with injury.
The Republic of Ireland right-back has been missing since suffering a double leg break on international duty back in March.
And the new Toffees boss, who hasn’t worked with the 29-year-old having only taken over from Ronald Koeman last month, reveals that the Irishman is making steady strides.

“Seamus Coleman is due back,” he told the club’s annual meeting, quoted by ESPN. “He has started training.”
Having Coleman back will be a huge boost for Everton, but he turns 30 in October and perhaps the injury might have diminished some of his electric pace.
Still, the Irishman has been a fantastic player for the Toffees down the years and although Jonjoe Kenny has really stepped up to the plate this season, the return of Coleman can only be a positive thing.

Allardyce’s side are ninth in the Premier League table, but only seven points clear of the relegation zone.
The 63-year-old has worked wonders since replacing Koeman but, having lost their last two Premier League games, it’s important that the former England boss arrests this run of form.
