Everton are due to take on Huddersfield Town tomorrow.

Everton boss Sam Allardyce has admitted to the Liverpool Echo that he has concerns over both Morgan Schneiderlin and Leighton Baines.

The Toffees are in action against Huddersfield Town tomorrow, and they are sweating over the fitness of the pair.

Both Baines and Schneiderlin have picked up knocks in the past week, which could keep them sidelined.

And Allardyce admitted that Dominic Calvert-Lewin could also be out for the contest against the Terriers.

Leighton Baines of Everton gives his team instructions during the Premier League match between Chelsea and Everton at Stamford Bridge on August 27, 2017 in London, England.

“We’re concerned about Morgan Schneiderlin and Leighton Baines. He’s cut,” Allardyce said.

“Dominic Calvert-Lewin has a back problem. We’re waiting for tomorrow to see what their availability is.

“There’s little we can do with those boys today. We have to give them as long as possible to see if they’re fit. It leaves us limited if they’re not. Hopefully two of three come through.”

Losing both Baines and Schneiderlin, in particular, would be a blow for Everton going into tomorrow’s game.

Baines has already missed much of the season through injury, and Cuco Martina has struggled when he has been called upon at left-back.

Schneiderlin, meanwhile, has been one of the better performers for the Toffees in recent weeks and seems to finally have hit some form.

If Everton are able to beat Huddersfield tomorrow they will help to protect their position in the top half of the Premier League table.
