Everton reportedly want to sign Richarlison from Watford in the summer transfer window.
According to Sky Sports, Everton are set to secure the services of Richarlison from Premier League rivals Watford in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that the 21-year-old winger will have a medical ahead of his £50 million move to the Toffees.
Current Everton manager Marco Silva worked with the youngster – who earns £32,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – at Watford.
Former Everton manager Allardyce has warned Silva about signing Richarlison as a potential for the future.
Allardyce told talkSPORT: “I think that he has seen him first hand and has worked with him on a daily basis, so he is backing his own judgement.
“What I would say to be careful about it is if you say you are buying potential, Everton fans do not want potential.
“They want absolutely the first-class player now, to play now, to beat and try and rival the big rivals down the road and try and get into Europe.
“If you are buying Richarlison as a future player, that’s not what Everton fans want to see at the moment.”
Good signing for Everton?
Richarlison joined Watford only in the summer of 2017, but it seems that the Brazilian winger has impressed his former manager Silva enough.
The former Brazil Under-20 winger did relatively well last season, although he could not maintain his form throughout the 2018-19 campaign.
The former Fluminense winger made 32 starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League last season, scoring five goals and providing four assists in the process.
Richarlison is a very talented young winger, and the 21-year-old could be a smart signing for Everton and could be a long-term success.
