Can Salomon Rondon go on a goalscoring run after the international break for Newcastle?

Newcastle United’s loan signing Salomon Rondon has shown great promise in the early signs of his St James’ Park career and supporters may see him firing in front of goal in the coming weeks.
The 28-year-old is a powerhouse centre-forward and the enforcer ticks a lot of boxes for manager Rafael Benitez.
He has already shown he has a huge work-rate to lead the line by himself effectively, which makes him ideal for Benitez’s system.
Rondon proved himself to be a handful in the 2-1 defeat to Manchester City, as he put his body on the line in attack and assisted DeAndre Yedlin’s goal with a brilliant cross.
There is every chance he could reap the rewards in front of goal himself after the international break, when Newcastle’s fixtures include the likes of Arsenal, Crystal Palace and Leicester City.

Rondon did open his Newcastle goalscoring account in the EFL Cup defeat to Nottingham Forest and it looks like he could become a vital player this season, as he adjusts to the surroundings of his new club.
The Venezuela international netted 10 goals in all competitions during the last campaign for a struggling West Brom side and Newcastle would love for him to strike double figures for them.
