Newcastle United striker Salomon Rondon scored twice for Rafael Benitez’s side at the weekend.

Newcastle United striker Salomon Rondon has told the Chronicle that he is back to full fitness now.
Rondon scored twice for Newcastle at the weekend, as they beat Bournemouth 2-1.
It was the first real display of what the Venezuelan could do at St. James’ Park this season, after a difficult time on Tyneside since his move in the summer.
And Rondon admits that he is back to his best now, after initially struggling with injury.
“Yes I’m fully fit now,” the target-man said. “I’ve come back from injuries and you’ve started to see now that I can be fit now the season is running.
“Along with the confidence the gaffer gives to me, these goals are a tribute to him, and that’s important for me.
“I hadn’t scored here [at St James’ Park] and, when you’ve not scored for a long time coming back from injury, it’s important for your confidence to get off the mark.”

Rondon’s brace helped Newcastle pick up their second win in succession, with Rafael Benitez’s side starting to climb up the Premier League standings.
Rondon’s first strike required him to blast home from close range, but his second goal really showed off his skills.
The powerful forward headed home with great skill to double Newcastle’s advantage.
Rondon now has two weeks to recover over the international break, before the Magpies are next in action again.
