Arsenal got off to a dream start in the Premier League last weekend with a 2-0 win against Crystal Palace, and they’ll be hoping to build on that victory in their game against Leicester City on Saturday.
The Foxes travel to the Emirates for Arsenal’s first home game of the season, and they come into this one as underdogs to say the least.
Indeed, it isn’t too happy a camp at Leicester at the moment, the East Midlanders haven’t made a single signing yet this summer, while the likes of Wesley Fofana and Youri Tielemans are both looking to leave the club before the window closes.
Leicester got off to a poor start to the season, squandering a 2-0 lead in a draw against Brentford last weekend, and they’ll be hoping to put that right here.
With that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting Arsenal’s starting XI for this one.
It’s not the most controversial or interesting predicted XI you’re likely to ever see, but we think Arsenal will go unchanged for this one.
The Gunners played brilliantly against Palace last weekend, and we can’t see Arteta breaking up what was a successful starting XI.
We may be just one game into the season, but this team pretty much picks itself.
Aaron Ramsdale is Arsenal’s undisputed number one, while this back four looked absolutely brilliant last week, with Oleksandr Zinchenko again keeping Kieran Tierney out of the team.
Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey start in the midfield, while Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard start behind Gabriel Jesus.
