Tottenham Hotspur want to bring Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic to the Premier League after a disappointing Serie A season.

It is ‘inevitable’ that Inter Milan will sell Ivan Perisic this summer with Tottenham Hotspur rumoured to be interested in the Croatia flyer, as reported by Calciomercato.
Spurs have been linked with Perisic since the summer of 2018, when FC Inter News reported that they had made contact with the winger’s agent. And Tuttomercatoweb reports that Mauricio Pochettino is still keen to bring the former Dortmund and Wolfsburg attacker to North London in the off-season.
Spurs are apparently willing to offer £23 million, though this is about £10 million less than what the Nerazzuri are demanding (Tuttomercatoweb).

Fortunately, however, Calciomercato claims that Inter are already planning to sell Perisic in the summer with his sale reported to be ‘inevitable’. Considering that Perisic has struggled badly since his stellar performances in Croatia’s run to the World Cup final, this should perhaps be no surprise.
He has scored just five goals all season while contributing seven assists in 36 games in all competitions. And, at the age of 30, how many years does a player so reliant on his pace have left at the top level?
