Crystal Palace came so close to taking a point away from Wembley Stadium as a second half Heung-min Son goal sealed a narrow 1-0 victory for Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

One player who impressed once again was Mamadou Sakho, who was superb up against the best striker in English football currently in Harry Kane and marshalled a back line that has conceded 22 goals in 11 league matches already this season.

If Palace are to stay up then people like Sakho will be vital to them achieving that as a strong and committed centre-back who can help organise the defence.
