Bukayo Saka has suggested that he is delighted that Emile Smith Rowe is now in Arsenal’s starting line-up, on the Premier League’s official Youtube channel.

Smith Rowe has recently become a key player at Arsenal, with Mikel Arteta making him the Gunners’ main number 10.

The youngster has seized his opportunity with both hands, with Smith Rowe one of Arsenal’s very best performers in recent weeks.

And Saka has been very complimentary of Smith Rowe’s passing ability.

He said, in an interview conducted over the weekend: “Emile Smith Rowe has very good passing. He’s settled in perfectly, he was patient for his opportunity and I think he deserved it. When he got it he took it and showed the impact he can make for the team.

“He’s a livewire, he’s everywhere, he can run into space and create opportunities for all of us. I love playing with him and I’m really happy he’s come into the team.”

Smith Rowe’s creativity has already come to the fore with his inclusion in Arsenal’s team being a major reason behind their improvements.

Smith Rowe was brought into Arsenal’s side at a point when they were looking down the table rather than up, but he has completely changed their fortunes around.

Arteta’s side may have lost on their last two outings, but they have generally played well over recent weeks, and Smith Rowe’s creativity has clearly aided them in an attacking sense.

There are actually some doubts over whether Smith Rowe will start in Arsenal’s next game against Leeds though, as Martin Odegaard is now pushing hard to take his place.
