Jamie O’Hara has criticised Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta on Twitter for his decision regarding Bukayo Saka against Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea tonight.

Saka started on the left of an attacking midfield-three during Arsenal’s Premier League game against Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium this evening.

The England international attacker played until the 61st minute when Arteta decided to take him off and bring on striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder O’Hara has criticised Arteta for taking off 19-year-old Saka.

O’Hara also believes that Arsenal should have had a penalty in the London derby.

Saka took one shot which was on target, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 79.3%, took 41 touches, and made two tackles.

The 19-year-old was far from his best in the match, but the winger did show some positive signs and appeared to be a problem for the Chelsea defence on occasions.

Perhaps Saka was getting tired. Or maybe Arsenal manager Arteta thought that there was no other player he could take off instead of the winger to bring on a striker.

It was a disappointing performance from Arsenal, who have now lost both of their opening games in the Premier League this season.
