Bukayo Saka has told reporters that club legend Thierry Henry reaches out to him after most Arsenal games.
Since breaking into the first-team, the youngster has become a fan favourite at the club.
The English winger has dragged his boyhood club through adversity and perhaps been their best player since being handed his big break.
So much so that many believe the 21-year-old is a world-class player, and one of the standout players in his position in Europe.
Even this season, Saka has been in splendid form.
With 4 goals and 6 assists to his name in the Premier League, the wonderkid has shone for the Premier League leaders.
At the World Cup as well, the starlet is England’s top scorer with 3 goals in 4 matches.
Saka says Henry contacts him after Arsenal games

Speaking to reporters (via Football Daily), Bukayo Saka has revealed that Thierry Henry contacts him after most Arsenal games.
“After most Arsenal games, he reaches out to me. It’s not even after that moment [when Saka got racially abused by fans after his penalty miss in the Euro 2020 final), like I said.”
“After most Arsenal games, he reaches out to me and he is still so passionate about the club. He’s an amazing person.”
Henry deserves a ton of respect for being a mentor to Saka
Often, several retired legends tend to frown on the younger generation of footballers.
Furthermore, they can also showcase a tendency of being merciless in their criticism of up-and-coming superstars.
But it seems to be that the iconic Thierry Henry does not fit this description one bit.
To contact Saka after the racial abuse he suffered is inarguably commendable from the World Cup winner.
And in addition, it is heartwarming to discover that Bukayo Saka receives a message from a legend of the club such as Thierry Henry after most Arsenal games.
