Agent Mikail Adampour says reported Southampton, Leicester City and Burnley target Omar Elabdellaoui is in talks with clubs over a summer move, the ScottishSun report.

The Norway international’s contract at Olympiacos is set to expire.

The Greek club have agreed with Elabdellaoui a short-term deal to cover the rest of the season, but the fullback then intends to move on in August.

According to SDNA, Southampton, Leicester and Burnley are all keen on him.

And Elabdellaoui’s agent has told reporters he is in talks with clubs over a potential deal.

“We are in dialogue with many teams in Europe. Omar is captain of both club and his national team and has led the only team in Europe so far undefeated in the league and well on his way to taking his fourth title success. He is playing the best football of his career and the interest in him is massive,” Adampour explained.

Elabdellaoui appears ready for the biggest move of his career:

At 28, the Olympiacos captain is approaching his peak and his stock is high after helping the Greek side dump Arsenal out of the Europe League.

A move to the Premier League would make plenty of sense.

Southampton have Kyle Walker-Peters on loan while Cedric Soares could move to loan club Arsenal permanently. The Saints will need to strengthen.

Burnley will lose Phil Bardsley at the end of his contract while Elabdellaoui could pose a different kind of option to regular starter Matt Lowton.

Leicester, meanwhile, will be keen to strengthen ahead of a likely Champions League campaign next year. Moreover, the Foxes may want to provide cover for Ricardo Pereira who is still out injured after suffering an ACL injury.
