Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin has told Sky Sports that Joelinton always impresses him through his work ethic in training.
Joelinton has endured a difficult first season in English football, and has not always met expectations in a Newcastle shirt.
The Brazilian did, however, managed to find the back of the net in the Premier League for just the second time all season yesterday.
Joelinton scored a tap-in to seal Newcastle’s 3-0 triumph against Sheffield United.
And Saint-Maximin was delighted for his Newcastle teammate.
“I’m really happy for him because I see Joelinton always in training and he always works so hard to score,” Saint-Maximin said.
“Sometimes it’s difficult and sometimes as a striker you will have a difficult time.
“I hope that with this game he can keep going and score again against Aston Villa.”

Despite Joelinton’s goal it was actually Saint-Maximin who impressed the most out of Newcastle’s team.
The French trickster scored Newcastle’s opener in the game and caused the Blades a huge amount of problems.
The Magpies actually looked very dangerous going forward, as Steve Bruce’s side moved into 13th place in the Premier League table with their victory.
