West Bromwich Albion striker closing on return.
West Brom’s Saido Berahino
West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino has congratulated his side on a hard fought draw away to Stoke City.
Berahino has been out of action for the past fortnight, but insists he is closing in on a return.
Posting on Twitter, Berahino said he is hopeful of featuring in the club’s next fixture against Sunderland.
West Brom drew 1-1 against Stoke, thanks to Salomon Rondon’s injury time goal earning a point, cancelling out Joe Allen’s 73rd minute opener.

Former England under-21 international Berahino did not feature, and while he has three starts and one substitute appearance in the league this season, he is yet to score.
After failing to clinch a move away from the Baggies in successive transfer windows, Berahino is betting on himself to have a good season, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.
West Brom’s next game is away to David Moyes’ struggling Sunderland side next Saturday, but Berahino may not necessarily walk straight back into Tony Pulis’ XI.
