Rangers are reportedly interested in signing AS Roma striker Umar Sadiq.

The Scottish Sun have claimed that Steven Gerrard and Rangers are interested in bringing AS Roma striker Umar Sadiq to Ibrox this summer, and he could form a partnership with Alfredo Morelos up front.
Sadiq, 21, is a loan target for Gerrard this summer, who is keen on adding attacking fire power to his side with Jason Cummings expected to rejoin Nottingham Forest and Eduardo Herrera frozen out of Ibrox.
Known for his aerial prowess, the Nigeria international stands at a lofty 6ft 4in and is able to contribute to play just as much as finding the back of the net himself.

Loaned to NAC Breda during the second half of the 2017-18 season after making three Roma appearances earlier in the season, Sadiq scored five goals in 12 Eredivisie appearances.
Alongside 21-year-old Morelos, Sadiq and the Colombian hotshot would surely combine to create a lethal partnership that even the likes of Aberdeen, Celtic and Hibernian would struggle to cope with.
Sadiq’s aerial prowess and physicality would see Gerrard create the ‘big and little’ strike force, coined during his early years at Liverpool where Gerard Houllier combined Michael Owen and Emile Heskey up front.

With most sides operating with only one striker these days, Gerrard could rip up the managerial handbook and throw caution to the wind by combining Sadiq and Morelos.
Morelos’ speed and last-man style of attacking compliments Sadiq, and the combination of the duo could just be the key to posing a title challenge to Old Firm rivals Celtic next season.
