Sadio Mane is set to complete his move to Al-Nassr following a disappointing spell at Bayern Munich and has opened up about the move to the Saudi side.
After the two sides agreed a deal for the Senegalese winger for a fee believed to be in the region of £24 million, the former Liverpool man has spoken about his reasoning for leaving the Bavarian club, but it seems the winger is sad about departing the German side.
“It hurts me to say goodbye to FC Bayern,” the 31-year-old winger told Sky Germany.
“I would have liked a different ending. I know I could have helped this team this season. I wanted to prove it to everyone this season. Nevertheless, I wish the club and the fans only the best for the future.”
Medical completed
When the Bayern squad left Tokyo for Singapore on Sunday morning, Mané travelled to Dubai where he has now completed his medical at the club.
The move is set to be confirmed in the coming hours and it brings to an end what has been an underwhelming and unfortunate spell in Munich for the Senegalese forward.

What the winger will bring to Al-Nassr is obvious, his quality on the ball and his willingness to press off the ball makes him a superb outlet for any side.
There will be hope from the fans of the Saudi side that the Senegalese winger could potentially start a lethal partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored a delightful header in a 4-1 friendly win against US Monastir last night.
The former Liverpool winger formed a lethal trio with fellow new Saudi League striker and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah and there will be hope that Mane could be the key for Ronaldo to shine and indeed Al-Nassr to win the Saudi Pro League title.
