Liverpool’s Sadio Mane has made a big impact at the club.
Liverpool’s Sadio Mane has said his side have the best supporters in England and labelled the newly-renovated Anfield amazing, suggesting it can help to spur the team on, Sky Sports report.
Mane joined the Reds from Southampton in the summer and has already made a huge impact for the Merseysiders, scoring in games against Barcelona, Arsenal and Leicester City.
His last outing against the Foxes ended in a comfortable win for Jurgen Klopp’s men in their first game at the newly-renovated Anfield, and for Mane it could not have gone much better.
Talking to former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher for Sky Sports, the winger said he believes the Merseyside club have the best fans in England and adds the new and improved Anfield will aid his side.
“It was amazing (playing at Anfield). It was unbelievable because we have the best fans in England. It is also important for the players to play next these fans and to be pushed by them and for us, it then became easy for us,” Mane explained.
Liverpool dominated Leicester throughout, prompting many Premier League observers to believe Jurgen Klopp’s side have what it takes to finish in the top four this season.
Mane has added extra quality in wide areas for the Reds, and thus far this season he has yet to lose a game for his new club after missing out on the 2-0 defeat at newly-promoted Burnley.
Liverpool face a tricky trip to Chelsea on Friday night, their third visit to the capital already this season having already defeated Arsenal 4-3 and drawn 1-1 at Tottenham Hotspur.
