Tottenham’s Lucas Moura stunned Ajax in the Champions League semi-finals and Liverpool are worried about what the Brazilian may do to them in the final.
Reds ace Sadio Mane says he is wary of the Brazilian, heading into the final between the two teams.
Quoted by French outlet Be Soccer, Mane said they must give the Spurs winger extra attention.
Mane said: “He did something exceptional. He’s the hero of Tottenham.
“We must be wary of him because he is a very fast, technical player who does not give up.
“We will try to put him in our pocket so that he is a little quiet.”
Keeping Lucas quiet won’t be easy for Liverpool.
He has already scored against the Reds this season at Anfield, and has a knack of netting in big games.
In addition to his strikes against Liverpool and Ajax, Lucas has a goal away at Barcelona and a brace away to Manchester United.
With Harry Kane in contention to feature, Liverpool can’t afford to give Lucas their sole focus.
Tottenham will provide a stern test, but joint Premier League golden boot Mane is just as capable of being a game changer too.
