Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has hailed their performance against Hull City to BBC Sport, saying the way the Reds play is special.

Jurgen Klopp’s side was in fine form once again on Saturday afternoon as they demolished the Tigers at Anfield.

Goals from Adam Lallana, James Milner, Philippe Coutinho and Mane himself saw them to a 5-1 win.

It was another impressive attacking display and took them to 16 goals scored in their first six games, the second-best record in the division behind leaders Manchester City.

And Mane has hailed the performance, saying he thinks the Reds have a great team on their hands.

“Maybe it’s not one of our best games but we scored a lot of goals and won,” he told BBC Sport.

“I am pleased with my time here so far, we’re working hard and we will keep working hard. I think the way we play is special. We have a great team.”

The key thing for Liverpool will now be replicating this kind of performance against the other teams they should be beating in the division.

The Reds have often shined against the big sides in the past but failed to put in the performances necessary against the so-called lesser teams.

This display showed that could be about to change at Anfield and if it does, Klopp’s team could be in for a very exciting season indeed.
