Liverpool summer signing Sadio Mane worked with current Everton manager Ronald Koeman at Southampton.

Liverpool winger Sadio Mane has told Sky Sports that he is thankful to Everton manager Ronald Koeman.
Mane joined Liverpool from Premier League rivals Southampton in the summer transfer window.
The Senegal international worked with Koeman for two years at the Saints prior to his move to the Reds.
The 24-year-old winger has been one of the best players for Liverpool so far this season.

The former Red Bull Salzburg star has outlined the importance of Koeman in his career.
“Koeman is also a great manager and he’s a nice person,” Mane told Sky Sports. “When he was at Southampton, everybody liked him at the club.
“It was easy for the young players, for us and for me personally because he helped me a lot and if I’m here today, some of it is because of him. He gave me many chances and I’m happy for that.”

Koeman is a very good manager, and his time at Southampton was a massive success.
The Dutchman is now in charge of Everton, and the Merseyside club’s fans will hope that he is a success at Goodison Park as well.
Mane has scored two goals and created four chances in three Championship matches for Liverpool so far this season.
During the 2015-16 campaign, the Senegalese scored 11 goals and created 41 chances in 37 league games for Southampton.
Liverpool are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment, while Everton are currently third in the standings.
