Some Liverpool fans on Twitter believe that Naby Keita is finished on Merseyside after Jurgen Klopp snubbed him once again on Saturday afternoon.
Keita was named among the substitutes yesterday as Newcastle United snatched a last-gasp 1-1 draw at Anfield to harm Liverpool’s chances of securing Champions League qualification.
The former Red Bull Leipzig midfielder has started only once in the Premier League this calendar year – only clocking 10 appearances in this competition overall this season – and Klopp even put a 35-year-old James Milner on ahead of him just before the hour mark.
The 26-year-old joined the Reds for £52 million in 2018 [The Echo] and although injuries have been extremely unkind to him, he’s been consistently fit for a while now and Klopp still does not look like he has any plan for him.

Team Talk has already reported earlier in April that Liverpool have put the club’s number eight up for sale this summer but, with a checkered injury history, it remains to be seen if there’s many interested suitors.
If there is, it’s pretty certain that the Merseyside outfit are looking at a big loss on their initial outlay, whatever happens.
