Arsenal and KSI have been mocked by Ryanair on Twitter after the Gunners suffered a 4-1 defeat to Manchester City.

The north Londoners have now lost their grip on the Premier League title race as the Citizens sit just two points behind with two games in hand.

After Arsenal‘s crushing defeat at the Etihad Stadium, Ryanair – who have gained over 700,000 followers on Twitter – took aim.

What Ryanair tweeted about Arsenal and KSI

Well, the opinionated airline – who have previously gone viral for poking fun at the likes of Jadon Sancho online – created a photoshopped image of KSI‘s popular PRIME energy drink with the phrase “bottled it” written where the logo usually is.

You can see Ryanair’s tweet in full below.

It has been viewed by over 3m people on Twitter, while also gaining almost 2,000 retweets and 30,000 likes at the time of writing.

As things stand, it certainly seems as if Arsenal have “bottled it” with many expecting Manchester City to easily pick up six points from their two games in hand.

However, last time Manchester City looked to have barged their way back into the Premier League title race, they ended up handing the initiative back to Arsenal after drawing 1-1 against Nottingham Forest.

Manchester City’s two games in hand are against West Ham and Brighton, with that latter clash in particular looking like a potential banana skin given how well the Seagulls have played this season.

Of course, Arsenal also have to ensure that they win all of their remaining fixtures to have any chance of beating Manchester City to the Premier League title, but that could be possible now the pressure is off.

Wednesday’s defeat at the Etihad Stadium puts Manchester City in the driving seat, but as history has shown us, sometimes it pays off to be the side chasing at this stage of the season, rather than the one looking over their shoulder.
