Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Manchester City all have been linked with Ryan Sessegnon of Fulham in the summer transfer window.

Ryan Sessegnon is one of the best young players in England, and his performances for Fulham this season have seen him linked with Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Manchester City.
According to The Sun, Tottenham, United and City all are interested in signing Sessegnon from Fulham in the summer transfer window.
It has also been reported by the British tabloid that the 17-year-old, who can operate as a left-back or as a left-winger, is rated at £30 million.

While it must be tempting for Sessegnon to play for the likes of Spurs or United, the youngster would be wise to listen to England Under-21 manager Aidy Boothroyd’s advice.
While giving his opinion on whether or not the youngster is ready to step up for the England senior team, Boothroyd, who managed Watford in the Premier League, told The Daily Mail: “He’s got a long way to go yet. He’s not ready for them yet.
“He’s in exactly the right place at the right time for his club, playing plenty of games and getting plenty of experience for his country.”
Boothroyd added: “When there is attention on someone who is doing so well there is inevitably going to comparison with the Wayne Rooneys and Michael Owens and the rest of it.
“But he’s clearly got something that is special and it’s about making sure we keep his feet on the ground and not get too excited, make sure he doesn’t get too excited — which I’m sure he won’t — and we just progress him at the right pace.”

Boothroyd’s advice could be applied to Sessegnon’s decision regrading his club future; maybe he should remain at Fulham for one more season at least, even if that be in the Championship.
After all, Sessegnon is only 17 years of age, and he is still developing his game. Spending another season in the second tier of English would not be a bad idea.
What would be bad for the teenager is if he joins Spurs, United or City and does not get playing time for the senior team and becomes a squad player – that would stunt his development.
