Nuno wanted to sign Tottenham Hotspur youngster Ryan Sessegnon when he was the Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach, according to Football.London.
It has been reported that Nuno, who was appointed as the Tottenham head coach earlier this summer, rates Sessegnon highly.
The Portuguese actually wanted to bring the 21-year-old, who can operate as a left-back or as a left-winger, to Wolves – not once but twice, according to the report.
Encouraging for Ryan Sessegnon
Sessegnon joined Tottenham from Fulham in the summer of 2019 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £25 million.
The 21-year-old made four starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League, and made two starts and one substitute appearance in the Champions League for Spurs in 2019-20.
Then Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho sent the younger out on loan to Hoffenheim last season.

Sessegnon did well for the German club, making 17 starts in the Bundesliga and three starts in the Europa League.
Nuno is a fan of the youngster, which means that the Englishman is likely to get chances in the first team next season.
Sergio Reguilon and Ben Davies are the two senior left-backs at Spurs, and Sessegnon will compete with them for a spot in the starting lineup.
The former Fulham youngster can also play as a left-winger, and this could stand him in good stead if Nuno decides to play him as a left wing-back.
