The Fulham talent’s excellent form no longer means Taylor is the Championship left-back in demand.

There is no doubt that Ryan Sessegnon has fast become the most wanted man in the Championship. The 16-year-old Fulham full-back is looking every inch star quality, with six goals in 22 games so far this campaign.

His form has certainly caught the eye of several Premier League teams, which might be good news for Leeds United.

For the past two seasons the Championship left-back that every Premier League team seemed to be linked with was Charlie Taylor.

The Leeds star has been in fine form since breaking into the Leeds first-team and has seen himself linked with plenty of Premier League teams – such as Liverpool, Manchester United and West Brom.

But Sessegnon is now the left-back everyone in the Premier League wants to bring up from the second-tier. The Leeds defender has also spent much of this season out with an achilles problem, which has also taken some of the shine away from his star.

Taylor, who is out of contract at Elland Road in the summer, has seen his options diminish as a result and Leeds fans will hope that leads to him marching on together with Garry Monk’s Leeds United revolution.
