Ryan Nolan allegedly snubbed a move to Leeds – and is now heading to Arezzo instead.

Leeds United were reportedly interested in Inter Milan’s Ryan Nolan before the transfer deadline, but the move ended up collapsing.

Defender Nolan, 20, was born in Ireland but was spotted by Inter as a youngster, and captained their Primavera side last season.

The centre-back has been touted for a bright future, but that future appears to lie away from Inter right now, even though his move to Leeds fell through.

FC Inter News reported before the English deadline that Leeds were willing to offer Nolan a three-year deal at Elland Road, and he looked set for a move to West Yorkshire.

However, Pundit Arena claimed that Nolan didn’t like Leeds’ plan to send him on loan to Kilmarnock, and he subsequently rejected the move.

Now, FC Inter News claim that Nolan is set to join third-tier Italian side Arezzo, in a deal which will see him pen a three-year deal, and Inter will retain 50% of his future transfer fee.

Nolan will now make his move into Serie C, which is something of a surprise move, but also highlights that he maybe wasn’t ready for the Leeds first team after all.

Leeds wanted him for the future and to get him developed out on loan, seemingly believing that he wasn’t quite ready for Championship football.

Nolan seemingly wasn’t keen on that loan move, and his chance at a move to Elland Road has gone, at least for now, and he’ll be looking prove his quality at Arezzo over the coming years.
