Rogic’s goal midway through the first half proved to be the difference between the two sides at the Pittodrie Stadium.

The 23-year-old attacking midfielder is one of the best players at Celtic and has a contract with the Glasgow giants until June 2019, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

McGowan, who is 27 years of age and can play as defender or as a midfielder, has suggested on Twitter that his Australia international teammate should leave Celtic.

Rogic is a very good attacking midfielder, but the former Central Coast Mariners man should remain at Celtic until the end of the season.
