Ryan Mason’s partner, Rachel Peters, has said on Instagram that she is ‘bursting with joy’ after Tottenham’s win against Southampton on Wednesday.
Whilst Mason has had his difficult moments after his career was cruelly cut short because of a head injury, he has now lived two dreams – making his debut as a Tottenham player and now as a Spurs manager.
Well, the Premier League’s youngest ever manager didn’t disappoint yesterday as he guided Spurs to a deserved three points against Southampton.
And even though the North London outfit went behind, they did something they haven’t done often this season, and that’s put on a second-half showing and come from behind to win.
Nonetheless, this is what Mason’s partner put on Instagram after Spurs’ victory last night, as she was rightfully delighted with Mason’s historic win.
It’s a small case of Mason against Pep Guardiola on Sunday in the League Cup final.
If the former midfielder can help Tottenham to a trophy then his stock will rise to enormous heights.
Whatever happens from now until the end of the season, this is nothing but an experience that will help Mason grow because he has nothing to lose.
