Mason said: “We have had very little time to work as a group. Last week we had two games in three or four days so that time was limited.
“The most important thing for me with Pedro is he has got a great attitude. He wants to learn, wants to improve and I am sure we will see him become a better player in the coming years.”
Staying positive
Pedro Porro moved to Tottenham Hotspur from Sporting Lisbon in the January transfer window.
As reported by Sky Sports, the right-back has initially joined Spurs on loan until the end of the season.
Tottenham have paid Sporting an initial loan fee of £5 million to sign the Spain international right-back.
Spurs are obliged to make the loan deal permanent for £39 million in the summer of 2023.

Porro could not make an impact when he was at Manchester City, but the youngster did well at Sporting Lisbon.
The Spain international is still developing and progressing as a player, and Tottenham fans should not forget that he is only 23 years of age.
We believe that Porro will come good for Spurs.
Eventually.
Tottenham fans have to be patient with the youngster.
The 23-year-old has made 10 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Tottenham.
Porro has scored two goals and given one assist in those games.
The Spaniard has also made one substitute appearance in the UEFA Champions League for Tottenham.
