Glasgow Rangers loanee Ryan Kent has admitted to the Scotsman that his return to Ibrox next season is being spoken about right now.

Kent has been hugely impressive since joining Rangers on loan from Liverpool, and is already playing a key role for Steven Gerrard’s side.

Rangers are now believed to be interested in bringing Kent back next season.

And the attacker admits that a move to Ibrox would appeal to him, as Rangers have everything that he is looking for in his next club.

“[Coming back to Rangers] is something that’s being spoken about at the moment,” Kent said.

“I’d want a club with ambition, that’s driven on getting silverware, as are the fans. I don’t want to join a team that’s just taking part. That’s not going to get the best out of me. Ultimately, the best players are winners and have that winning mentality. I feel like I have that as Rangers are pushing for that silverware.”

Buying Kent has its complications for Rangers, as he could be out of their price range.

The Liverpool Echo claim that Liverpool want £12 million for the winger, who is still only 22-years-old.

Kent has scored six goals and claimed six assists in the league for Rangers this term.

Rangers are next in action at the weekend when they take on Hibernian, and Kent looks set to be handed another starting role.
