Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers reportedly want Ryan Kent at Ibrox, with Leeds United also claimed to be interested in the Liverpool winger.

Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers want to bring Ryan Kent on loan to Ibrox, according to Goal.com, which has also claimed that Leeds United are interested securing the services of the Liverpool winger on a loan deal in the summer transfer window.
Kent is a hugely talented winger, and it would make sense for the Liverpool youngster to leave Anfield on loan for the 2018-19 campaign, but which club should the former England Under-20 international choose – Rangers or Leeds?

Case for Leeds United
Leeds are one of the biggest clubs in England and have a strong following, and given that the Whites would be challenging for the Championship playoffs next season, they do are an attractive prospect.
Then there is the small matter of Marcelo Bielsa potentially becoming the Leeds head coach, with The Mirror reporting on Friday that the Whites hope to appoint him in the role in the coming days.

Better option Rangers
However, Rangers would be a safer option, mainly due to Liverpool legend Gerrard being in charge of the Ibrox club.
Gerrard will know about Kent, and the former England international midfielder will be aware of his strengths and weaknesses.

Moreover, Liverpool would also be more inclined to sending the 21-year-old to Rangers because of the presence of club legend Gerrard.
Playing in front of 50,000 fans at Ibrox would also be a test for Kent which would serve him well upon his return to Liverpool.
Rangers fans demand a lot from their players, and Kent playing of the Gers would help him prepare for pressure that comes with turning out for title-chasing clubs.
